ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Morris Brown’s quest for spirituality led him to
Bible College. His introduction to the Hebrew
language began there. After graduation in
1968 and for several years into his ministry,
he seldom made reference to the Hebrew text,
opting for the Greek text instead. Yet, eventu-
ally, one of his most rewarding breakthroughs
was exploring the symbolic characteristics of
the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
The Hebrew alphabet took on a fresh inspira-
tion for the author when he began to associ-
ate the meaning of these ancient symbols with
the New Covenant message of the Messiah.
He started to visualize the letters as picto-
graphic images rather than unrelatable foreign
scribbles. It made all the difference for him to
see the Hebrew alphabet, not as meaningless
scribbles, but as a treasury of hidden truths.
His lifelong quest had yielded spiritual rewards
beyond his expectations and has enriched his
faith and brought a deeper confidence in the
Bible.
Morris sincerely hopes that this introduc-
tion of the letters of the Hebrew alphabet work
can reinforce one’s confidence in the Bible. It
is his prayer that the reader will discover the
same encouragement in their faith to justify
their time spent in these pages.
